Our House
Kappa Kappa Gamma Epsilon Gamma chapter has resided at 302 Pittsboro Street since we were established in 1958. However, we've since made more than a couple of modifications. In the 70's, our dining room was expanded to accommodate our growing chapter. In the 80's, we expanded by adding the "Little House" behind the main house. At the time it was used to house more members, but today it serves its purpose as our "Study House", a 24-hour quiet space where members can come to study for classes. In 2016, we added a patio beside the house with tables and chairs, where we eat meals when it's nice outside, study, and hang out after class.
Our chapter does not have a live-in requirement, but many members chose live in the house during their time at Carolina. Just a 10-minute walk from the quad, our house is located extremely close to campus, and with lunch and dinner served Monday through Thursday, and lunch on Friday, living in-house is convenient. From getting ready for social events, watching movies in the living rooms, and studying in our chapter room, in-house members enjoy making memories and forming close bonds with each other.
