Chapter History

You have to know where you’ve been to know where you are going. Kappa holds a special place in its heart for Fraternity history, but every chapter of our organization has unique beginnings of its own. Each plays a part in shaping us today. We are the Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at UNC Chapel Hill. We were founded at UNC in 1958, and we have remained in the same home ever since. We are the only chapter on campus to have lived in the same home since being founded, and we are the only chapter to live in a historic home.
